He has founded and directed various musical ensembles (By-Spiel Project, Raaga Trio, Galm, Slosh, Virgo, Materiofonik Ensemble, Nest, and the Post-Garde Freaks Orchestrum). Since 1994, he has managed tours for these musical projects with national and international musicians, with whom he has traveled the world and recorded albums. Curious about approaches to other artistic disciplines, he has also composed and performed music for dance, theater, and poetry. Since 2021, he has dedicated himself to « wild instrument making, » building musical instruments using recycled materials, and leads workshops to learn how to build and play them in groups: www.joueatonrythme.ch. In 2023, he founded « The Post-Garde Freaks Orchestrum, » an eight-piece ensemble playing a repertoire composed for instruments made from recycled materials. Their music is inspired by the worlds of Harry Partch, Charles Ives, Edgar Varese, and Frank Zappa.
